How does Invisalign work?
The treatment plan starts with a digital scanner that gives us a clear picture of the teeth and allows us to create a bespoke treatment plan. These scans are sent to the Invisalign lab where they create the custom Invisalign aligners. When the case arrives, your teen will start wearing their aligners every day. For treatment to be successful, they need to wear their aligners for 20-22 hours per day. They will change their aligner every 10-14 days and this will move them closer to perfect alignment. At the end of treatment, they will switch to wearing a retainer at night time to keep their smile looking perfect.

During your initial consultation, we will carry out a thorough examination to determine if your teen is a suitable candidate for Invisalign. We will also scan their teeth and allow them to see what their teeth could look like after treatment using digital tools.
Treatment begins
Your teen will need to wear their aligners for 20-22 hours per day during their treatment plan. They will change the aligners every 10-14 days as instructed and attend checkup appointments periodically.
Smile with confidence
At the end of the treatment, your teen will return to the practice for a final checkup. We will also create their retainer which they will need to wear at night time to prevent their teeth from falling out of alignment.
