We are proud to offer NHS dentistry in our practice to ensure that dentistry is accessible and affordable to all. With NHS dental care, treatment prices are easy to understand and highly cost-effective. You pay for the highest treatment band required, and you only need to pay once per treatment plan. From routine checkups to root canal therapy, you can access everything you need to keep your teeth and gums healthy and happy.
Who is entitled to NHS treatment
Anyone can access NHS treatment, even if they are already registered as a private patient. You will have to pay the NHS treatment band fee, unless you are entitled to free NHS dental care. You are entitled to free NHS dental care if you are:
- Under 18, or under 19 and in full-time education
- Pregnant or have had a baby in the last 12 months
- Being treated in an NHS hospital and your treatment is carried out by the hospital dentist
- Receiving low income benefits, or you're under 20 and a dependant of someone receiving low income benefits

NHS Pricing Bands
Prices correct as of April 2023
Band One
£25.80
This covers an examination, diagnosis (e.g. x-rays) advice on how to prevent future problems, and a scale and polish if needed. Urgent treatment, when you need to see a dentist immediately, also costs £23.80.
Band Two
£70.70
This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.
Band Three
£306.80
This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2 above, plus crowns, dentures or bridges.
