Digital Dentistry in Dental Implants

When creating a dental implant treatment plan, it's important to have the complete picture. Using a Dental Cone Beam CT Scan, we are able to get a more in-depth look at your mouth and jaw. This machinery offers imaging that is far more detailed than a simple X-ray. It allows us to see a 3D image of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in one scan. This gives us a much better idea of your suitability for dental implants and results in higher success rates. Not every dental practice has invested in this level of technology, but we are proud to be able to offer it to our patients.

iTero Scanner and Invisalign

When planning an Invisalign treatment plan, it's important to have a complete picture of the mouth. In this past, this was achieved through putty moulds that are unpleasant to bite into and prone to shifting. Now, we can achieve all of this with a digital scanner. The iTero Scanner is a vital part of the Invisalign journey. It allows us to scan the whole mouth and then design a bespoke treatment that determines the optimal path of movement for each tooth. This is an essential part of designing your Invisalign treatment plan, but it also assists in creating a visual mock-up of how your smile could look after braces.

    Dentist was very professional. Took time to ask about my teeth and if I had any issues or concerns. Did a scale and polish which was very good and not uncomfortable, unlike other visits. Advised me on different toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Arranged further appointment quickly for other work needed. I am happy with the service. Thanks.

    Needed to see a dentist quickly due to losing a tooth. Was offered an appointment 2 days later which I was grateful for. Managed to park in their small car park at the rear of the surgery. If this is full, there is free public parking in the underground car park at the Forum shops opposite. Only waited a couple of minutes before being called through to see the dentist who was friendly and helpful. She explained the options available to me and I made the decision to go down the cheapest route by having my small denture plate extended rather than a new one. Impressions were taken there and then and a further appointment booked for 12 days time for the fitting. Very pleased with the whole experience.
