Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Have a question about your dental treatment? We've answered the most common questions below.
General dental treatments include everything you need to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. It does not include anything that would restore or cosmetically alter your smile.
A checkup includes a visual examination of your teeth, gums and mouth. We will also screen for signs of oral cancer. If necessary, we may take X-rays to get a clear picture of the condition of your teeth below the surface.
An oral hygiene cleaning includes professional cleaning of your teeth and below the gum line. We will remove any plaque or tartar build-up, and polish your teeth to leave them looking clean and healthy. This can help to prevent gum disease and tooth decay.
If you have gum disease, we will work with you to achieve better oral health and gum health. This may include deep cleaning, antibiotics and changes to your oral hygiene routine. We will also closely monitor the condition of your gums to ensure that the disease does not progress.
I have just seen the hygienist who cleaned my teeth. I am so delighted with the result. I didn't know I have such pretty teeth. They are professionals and they worked hard to remove my terrible stains and plaque. I am nervous about attending a dentist practice but they were very kind and helpful. Cannot praise them enough. Thank you.

Very good, dentists were very nice
Very good thank you! The staff are good and explained everything step by step. That was very helpful 🙂
Excellent treatment and very prompt
The check up was undertaken and no treatment was necessary.
Dentist was very professional. Took time to ask about my teeth and if I had any issues or concerns. Did a scale and polish which was very good and not uncomfortable, unlike other visits. Advised me on different toothpaste for sensitive teeth. Arranged further appointment quickly for other work needed. I am happy with the service. Thanks.
The doctor was so nice and helpful. He listened to us and explained every thing very well.
Was treated quickly and respectfully by all staff from start to finish.
Needed to see a dentist quickly due to losing a tooth. Was offered an appointment 2 days later which I was grateful for. Managed to park in their small car park at the rear of the surgery. If this is full, there is free public parking in the underground car park at the Forum shops opposite. Only waited a couple of minutes before being called through to see the dentist who was friendly and helpful. She explained the options available to me and I made the decision to go down the cheapest route by having my small denture plate extended rather than a new one. Impressions were taken there and then and a further appointment booked for 12 days time for the fitting. Very pleased with the whole experience.
